Not that bad, some minor bugs need to be fixed, you should add a lock screen like the iPhone version and allow the sync via iCloud instead of dropbox !

This app doesnt sync w/ iphone version different that said in its description.
Bem leve e prático.
Its a very easy-to-use application. quite simple, it just helps you not to forget your bills, and calculate and budget expenses. but i would really appreciate if they make a similar easy-to-use app where you can also input ur income and expenses and set-up a budget. cause in this app you can only input expenses and no income, so you wont know how much money you have left after paying bills... i hope they would make an app for mac that is similar to the ibear money app they have on ipods and iphones..
I love how easy and simple it is to use the application. But one flaw I found about this application is the due date for the bills. You can change it from daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. I usually pay bills monthly and have my option set as that but when you do this, the due date for your bill will always be on the same day of every month. For example I want to pay my bills starting at the end of April, which ends on the 30th day. Next month I do not want to pay my bills on May 30th but on the 31st. We should be able to put a setting where we pay our bills at the end of every month. Not only one chosen day of every month.
This app does not install it just says "Install" in app store even after purchasing. After clicking Install it is waiting for installation and then keeps quiting.
i recently downloaded this app. im running thru the app-store on a 10.6.7 machine. hopefully they will be able to fix some of the issues. ie: try clicking on items and i dont get any dialog box. add an entry and it disappears. not really sure what is going on. fingers cross that it gets sorted, as it looks like a great app. i still have high hopes!
Dear Lord! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!!!!! What a horrible application! Opened it up after buying it, and then realized it is incredibly inflexible! You HAVE to use the options THEY choose for your bills. Tried to figure out how to do something as simple as making an expense for rent but all they had was "mortgage." No way to name your expense! If its not on their "list" then it doesnt exist! Completely ridgid and inflexible program! Wish I could get my money back! Not even worth it trying to go any further! If an application isnt intuitive and easy to use after 15 minutes of trying then the developers seriously need to start over! I beg you not to buy this!
I am not working for this company, I bought it inspite of what the previous commenter wrote (the guy that wrote the bad review probably had zero patience working with it), and I found that you can actually make your own categories and sub categories, add custom images, move them around etc. The application does have some issues with the interface (for example, if you want to change an auto payment to a planned bill, you need to delete it and recreate it), but all in all it is great ! , syncs using Dropbox with the iPhone and Ipad. To create new categories and sub categories do the following: Once you create a new category using the "+" button, you need to right click on the new item, and choose "open", that allows you to add sub categories.
It took me some times to fill up all the categories and understand how to sync the mac with the iphone, but once it was done, I was really pleased with the result. At last an application which doesnt ask me to share my bank account credentials! What is missing is some graphics and a view of all the expenses per categories. Otherwise, its a good app! Thx!
The app uses the KISS method. Keep it Simple Stupid. Very easy to use, it is great for somone who wants to plan incoming expenses. Could use a few extra icons, although the ones supplied could do the job. It would be nice to have a shaded square on the calendar when on TODAY, instead of just the word. No real preferences to choose from, that would also be nice. Such as hiding the tool bar below. Entries are done very quickly once your categories are done properly. Well worth the five bucks. Hopefully we get a few updates. It does the job for me.
Price is low actually, and so I dont expect much from this app. But how can I sync my Mac data with iPad data? Using sync option of course, but how can I do this, when I forgot my iBear soft password and login (long no use). Where I can find remind option? Answer is - nowhere. Fundamental bug in so simple app is a lapidary mistake. App is no use, and i lost 0.79 E x 2.
My wife and I have been using this app for almost 3 years now and we love the app. Its very easy to use, very nicely layed out, and very convenient. I love the fact that we are able to sync via drop box. To make this great app even more amazing, I would suggest the following: 1) Automatic sync. Once you have linked the app to drop box, and when you are on WIFI I think that it should automatically sync when opening / closing the app. It just makes it more convenient than having to manually sync every time, and every device. So if you have 5 devices using the app (like myself) i have to manually update 5 devices. 2) Sync history. It would be nice to see a small history of the sync history: Date & time of last sync and which device synced at that date and time. 3) On the desktop and iPad versions, there is a “today” button that allows you to come back to the current day. On the Iphone version however, if you are looking at bills in the future or the past, and you want to come back to the current month, you have to manually go forward or back, month by month. So if you have to look at a bill from 6 months ago, you have to go 6 months back, and then go 6 months forward to get it back to the current month. But overall, I think its a great app. I have used Mint and other bill tracking apps, but I love the simplicity of this app.
No syncing with iPhone or iPad, except exporting the data? Good thing this was only a $.99 cent mistake.
What a waste. Doesnt sync with the iPad. Whats the use. I dont want to manage 2 seperate programs.
I really do not understand the oversight in not being able to sync with my ipad. For .99 cents, I received a dead on arrival piece of software. Ive already purchased the iPad version and created a large database, and now, Ill need to recreate it again for my desktop? NO THANKS. With that said, Its been a nice app on my iPad that Ive used quite a bit, but this is just a waste.
I love this app on my iPad but they dont sync. What a waist of $.99!
Good app, nice UI. Is the app for homeowners only? Id like to list rent as a recurring expense, but the only options seem to be listing rent as a mortgage payment or "other." Maybe Im just being anal, but Id rather just have a nice clean "Rent" icon.
I dont have a need to sync as the other reviewers do but I still expect it to work. This application is pretty but just does not get the job done. Dont waste your buck. Its all fluff and no bark.
First thing I notice out of the box is that there isnt an easy way to add multiple income at different times of the month. I get paid twice a month, and have different bills through out the month. If I go over my budget on the first part of the month it is clear that this application will not be able to show it to me. Second, Recurrence 1 a month, every other month etc, are ok if you are creating a calendar, but in this case I want to make payments on the first and third friday of the month. There is no way to deal with more complex recurrences. Edit is a pain. Over all didnt like it, the UI has potential but there is a lot to be done for this particular App.
