No syncing? Only export to csv?

I really do not understand the oversight in not being able to sync with my ipad. For .99 cents, I received a dead on arrival piece of software.

Ive already purchased the iPad version and created a large database, and now, Ill need to recreate it again for my desktop?

With that said, Its been a nice app on my iPad that Ive used quite a bit, but this is just a waste.
